A Message of Salvation

Accepting the Gift of Salvation will be among the easiest thing you’ll ever do in your life, but it will also be the ONE thing that will have the greatest impact for the rest of your life.

Make sure to read this message from top to bottom and in only 10 minutes, if you are willing, you will be “saved” for the rest of eternity, bound for the Kingdom of Heaven, and into the very presence of God Himself.

Getting the Gift of Eternal Salvation is based on 3 little principles:

1)Have you ever sinned?

2)Do you acknowledge the fact that you deserve to be eternally punished for all of your sins?

3)Are you willing to accept Salvation on God’s terms?

Let’s look at each point quickly so you can get saved.

The first part asked the question “Have you ever sinned”? That’s a very easy question to answer…YES! You’ve sinned, I’ve sinned, everyone who ever lived has sinned except for Jesus Christ.

In Romans 3:10 it says: “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.”

In Romans 3:23 it says: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

So the answer is a very simple one; “YOU HAVE SINNED!”

The second part asked the question: “Do you acknowledge the fact that you deserve to be eternally punished for all of your sins?” Again, the answer should be an easy one…YES! Now, there will be those people who’ll say, “Well, I can work off my sins. I can make sure that I do more good deeds than bad deeds and enter into Heaven because I worked myself into it.” Not true! In Ephesians 2:8 – 9 it reads: “For be grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

The last part of those verses clearly points out you CANNOT WORK YOURSELF INTO HEAVEN! No matter what anyone or any institution may have told you in the past, the Word of God makes it very clear that you CANNOT WORK YOURSELF INTO HEAVEN! And because sin is so wrong in the eyes of God it keeps us from ever being able to reach Him. We simply cannot do it on our own.

However, God’s love for us is so Great and Eternal, He never wanted us to be separated from Him. So, He made a way out for us. That way out is through Jesus Christ!

Almost 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ, who is God in a physical body, allowed Himself to be nailed onto a cross and for six hours hung on that cross so that every sin that was ever made in the past, present and future would be paid for, including yours. This was a Gift of Love that was done for your sake; so you could find a way into Heaven.

The third part asked the question: “Are you willing to accept Salvation on God’s terms?”

The Bible says in Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death.” As we already pointed out, sin leads us to a spiritual death which separates us eternally from God. Romans 6:23 does read “For the wages of sin is death,” however it goes on to say that “…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

As I have already pointed out to you, God DOES NOT want you to be separated from Him, so He made a way out for you. He decided to pay for all of your sins so you wouldn’t have to pay for them yourself in Hell and then in the Lake of Fire. Romans 6:23 just stated He wants to give you the “Gift of eternal life.”

Now, how do you get this “Gift of eternal life?” John 3:16 says: “For God so loved the world (that’s you and I and everyone else) that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believeth in him should not perish (die and go to Hell), but have everlasting life.”

Romans 10:9 says: “That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

There it is! How to get the Gift of everlasting Salvation! The Gift comes from Jesus Christ, and you get this Gift, from Jesus Christ, if you believe in your heart that He died on the cross to pay for your sins. And, if you’re not certain about this, just 4 little verses further down in Romans 10:13 says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Ask yourself now, the following questions:

1)Have I ever sinned? The answer should be yes.

2)Do I deserve to be sent to hell because I have sinned so many times in my life? The answer should once again be yes.

3)Do I believe that Christ died on the cross to pay for all of my sins so that, when I accept His Gift of everlasting Salvation, I will go to Heaven when I die? The answer should be yes.

If you genuinely believe in your heart what you were just told, I want you to read out loud, and I do mean out loud, the following prayer with all of your heart:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. And because I am a sinner, I do deserve the punishments of hell. But, I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for all of my sins, that He died and was buried, and rose from the grave three days later so that one day I could enter into Heaven to be with you forever. I accept your Gift of everlasting Salvation this very second, and thank you for giving it to me. From here on in I will try do things your way. I ask all these things of you dear God, in Jesus’ most precious and holy name, Amen!”

If you have said this prayer, and meant it from your heart, YOU’RE SAVED! And God bless you because of it. No matter what happens from now throughout eternity nothing can separate you from Jesus Christ. Romans 8:35 – 39 tells us that NOTHING can now separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

If you just got saved, please post a message on the “Message Board” at the front of this web site, and share with us, if you want to, your experience. Trust me, Christians, just like the angels in Heaven, jump for joy whenever anyone is saved.

I will now leave you with this blessing I pray God gives you which can be found in Numbers 6:26:

“The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:

The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”

God bless and keep you for the rest of your days…Love Doc!
