“Prophecy in the News”

The “Prophecy Summit” in Branson, MO

“Outstanding! Overwhelming! A God send!” These were but some of the countless terms I repeatedly heard as I had attended the “Prophecy Summit” hosted by “Prophecy in the News” in Branson, MO from July 13 – 15, 2012, and rightfully so, were such words used to describe an event in which 800 – 1,000 people attended. The speakers were stellar, their presentations beyond the point of brilliant, and the Christian camaraderie was electric.

“Prophecy in the News”, always being noted for their fine internet shows and source of Christian information and truth, had ventured into an arena they had never conceived of before; to hold a Prophecy Summit.

Under the guidance of Gary Stearman and Bob Ulrich, almost 30 speakers had been gathered, presentation after presentation had been given, interviews and other events were coordinated with a skill that would’ve driven anyone to the brink of insanity and, yet, flawlessly executed. Surely, the term “It’s a God thing” was justifiably used to describe this event.

Pastor Mike Hoggard, Chuck Missler, Rob Skiba, Dr. Noah Hutchins and so many others had availed themselves and blessed all those in attendance with their profound wisdom and knowledge as they lectured to each of us, and afterwards made themselves readily accessible to any who would want to speak with them one-on-one. Of a surety, “Giants walked the earth” for three days in Branson.

I would write more, but words have failed me. I am still overwhelmed by what I had witnessed. All I can say in conclusion is this: “When is the next Prophecy Summit?”
